Commissioning assistance and training
TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS:
Centralised smelter control room
Use of fieldbus technology for field instrumentation.
Automatic bath temperature control of ISASMELT™ furnace.
Design and commissioning to be achieved with low or no impact on existing smelter operations.
RESULTS
The new plant has surpassed the Peruvian Environmental Agency’s emission requirements and SCC management is very happy with the project outcomes.
Additionally, SCC will realise increases in productivity, improvements in production quality and a general growth in profit margins.
