Cayden Meyer, Systems Engineer
MIPAC is pleased to announce that Cayden Meyer has joined its team full time as a systems engineer.

Cayden graduated this year from QUT with first class honours and a string of academic awards.  He has been working at MIPAC on a part-time basis since late 2008 and his experience includes creating MIPAC’s in-house engineering tool suite, leading the development of a copper refinery image analysis project, and working with neural network systems as part of a control network. Cayden is currently working on a control system upgrade for a grease manufacturing plant.

MIPAC helps move the largest refrigeration plant of its kind in the world.

MIPAC engineers Tim Hausler and Darren Shields conduct vibration transmitter tests at Xstrata Copper's refrigeration plant in Mt Isa.

It is no mean feat moving a 24.5 - Megawatt refrigeration plant that happens to be the largest of its kind in the world, but MIPAC's talented engineers recently helped Xstata Copper do just that -- safely, on time and under budget. Read more.
